How might Everspring
provide guests more sustainable cleaning tools?
Concept test 1
five mutually exclusive dish brush concepts and one control were presented in focus groups to over 50 guests.
Function
The repleacable brush head was compared to a vegetable brush. Guests wanted a sponge head option.
Material
Guests discussed sustainability heavily, and desired to reduce their plastic use.
Aesthetic
The brushes’ sharp edges were at risk of scratching dishes and feeling unfriendly.
Concept test 2
In a second round of focus groups with 50 new guests, two dish brush concepts were presented with material variations against one control.
Features
Guests wanted their dish brush to freely stand and be able hang from a hook.
Consolidation
The dish brush head had too many parts that could be lost.
